This 14day Uganda Jungle safari takes you to the very best Uganda’s safari destinations can offer. This Jungle Tour is available on both group and private basis. see map of this journey.

The major highlights of this Tour includes: Nature walks,Rafting,Mt Hiking,Birding,Cultural tours, sightseeing, boat cruising, Wildlife viewing, Chimp tracking and gorilla tracking.
The accommodation type in these areas can be High end/luxurious accommodation, mid range accommodating or Low budget/basic accommodation with tour the top of the falls all Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. This selection of different properties gives guests opportunity to select the suitable type of accommodation preferred based on individual budgets

Itinerary:

DAY 1 ENTEBBE - Jinja We shall personally meet you upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, and transferred to the New the Mabira Forest Lodge/Jinja Nile Guest House in Jinja for overnight. For clients arriving early, excursion of the source of River Nile and famous Bujagali falls is possible. Lunch break at Jinja Nile Resort Meal plan:  Dinner. 

DAY 2 JINJA -MBALE: After breakfast, embark on White Water Rafting along River Nile. We then proceed to Mbale via Tiriny on a good tarmac road evening excursion of Sippi falls. Overnight at Mbale Resort or Sippi River Lodge or Lacam Lodge. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 3 MBALE - SOROTI
Begin the day with a hike of Mt Elgon. The one day activity presents an exciting setting for extended hikes, interesting and unique flora and fauna, magnificent waterfalls, enormous caves, scenic peaks gorges and hot springs. In the afternoon drive to Soroti town for overnight at Soroti Hotel/Eneku Village set in a marvelous beautiful soil of Teso Land. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 
(* A stop over is made at Nyero Rock paintings near Kumi town on the way to Soroti for excursion the famous earliest rock paintings in Africa which date back to stone age period)

DAY 4 SOROTI-MURCHISON
An early breakfast ready for a drive to Lira region to look for the Fox weaverbird. After lunch, drive to Murchison via Lira. Relax around the lodge area.Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Lodge/Sambiya River Lodge/Chobe Lodge,Red Chili. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 5 MURCHISON
An early breakfast ready for a game drive along Nile Delta to spot huge populations of elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, waterbuck, and a variety of antelopes. Drive to Pakwach town as well and see one of the oldest bridges in the country. After lunch, a boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls is extraordinary where you will see the Nile from the bottom angle. You will see huge crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks and water birds can be seen around. Tour the top of the falls where you will meet your awaiting car to take you back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/Nile Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge/Red Chili . Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 6 MURCHISON-KIBALE: An early start by road for Kibale National Park via Albertine escarpment. Visit the top of Murchison falls before you embark on a drive along the rift valley scenery and section of Lake Albert through out the journey on a good murrum road. The distance is long taking about 8-9 hours. Overnight at Ndali Lodge/Kibale Safari Lodge/Primate Lodge/Nyinabulitwa Resort/Chimpanzee Guest House/Kibale Forset Camp/Chimps Nest/Rwenzori view guest House. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 7 KIBALE-SEMLIKI: Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the Congo border right under the Rwenzori Mountains, into the Semuliki National Park jungles. The new Semuliki National Park is lowland, dense forest, with exotic primates, hundreds of bird species and good mammals as well. Its location on the shore of Lake Albert provides excellent shoreline game viewing. Meals and accommodations at the luxurious Semuliki Safari Lodge/Semliki Bandas. Few tourists get into this incredibly beautiful area! Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 8: SEMULIKI/QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK: This morning we go for a morning nature walk to the hot springs and visit the Batwa  people who live in the forest. Thereafter drive south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute. Meals and overnight at Mweya Lodge /Jacana Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge/Katara Lodge/Kyambura Lodge/Hippo Hill Camp/Bush Lodge/Mweya Hostel .Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 9: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK: Dawn game drive in Uganda 's best park, where all the big game can be seen in abundance. Famous for elephant and kob, expect to see some rare animals like giant forest hog. There are 638 recorded bird species in the park! After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Albert and George, for large numbers of buffalo and hippo. Meals and overnight at Mweya Lodge /Jacana Lodge/Kyambura Game Lodge/Katara Lodge/Kyambura Lodge/Hippo Hill Camp/Bush Lodge/Mweya Hostel .Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 10: QUEEN- ISHASHA-BWINDI: Morning game drives to spot rare Africa climbing lions and other game. Continue on to Bwindi via Ishasha road. This route is famous for the rare tree-climbing lions. Evening foot safari to interact with the local people. The animals you may see are: black and white colobus monkeys, some duikers if near and as earlier mentioned, gorillas especially group H if they are near .Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp/Ruhija Lodge/ Bwindi Resort/Engagi Lodge/Buhoma Lodge/Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/Buhoma Community Bandas. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY 11: BWINDI-LAKE BUNYONYI: Early morning entries into gorilla sanctuary after a briefing from UWA park authorities. Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. You may see the gorillas eating, sucking ants from a tree, swinging on vines, playing and sleeping. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. It is most rewarding animal-based experience that clients get and others would definitely do it again if given the opportunity. There are now only 650 left in the world! The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. There is always an option to hire a local porter (highly recommended as it supports the local economy) who will carry your bag and literally, push you up the hills if necessary!  Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp/Ruhija Lodge/ Bwindi Resort/Engagi Lodge/Buhoma Lodge/Lake Kitandara Tented Camp/Buhoma Community Bandas. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. 

DAY12: Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi:Drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale a region popularly known by many tourists as the 'Switzerland of Africa'. The scenery of winding road, hills and valleys, terraced landscape and friendly African people will amaze you. Go for a boat trip for sightseeing and birding along Lake Bunyonyi. Relaxing the whole evening. Dinner and overnight at Heritage Lodge/Arcadia Cottages/Bunyonyi overland Camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY13: LAKE BUNYONYI-ENTEBBE: Return to Kampala in the morning, lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara with stopover at Equator Uganda crossing and Mpambire drum makers for a brief photo opportunity and to shop souvenirs . Transfer to Entebbe. Dinner and overnight at Lake Victoria Hotel Entebbe/The Boma Guest House/Entebbe Airport Guest House (Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 14 Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home or to the next destination. (Meal plan: Breakfast)End of services.
