THE GORILLA RESORT BWINDI

"The Gorilla Resort" has just been opened at Buhoma Bwindi and can presently accommodate a total of 8 people in 4 doubles in two Luxury Tents and two cottages. All with a commanding view of the Bwindi Impenetrable forest, the tents are built on raised platforms/decks with private verandahs. The bathrooms with hot and cold showers/toilets too have great views of the forest and the nearby River Munyaga. Lighting is provided by oil lamps but there are plans to install solar lighting in the rooms.

The main lodge building is constructed in local wood and straw and overlooks the forest and the Munyaga floodplain. It comprises a dinning room, Bar area, Lounge and an expansive viewing deck.

There are plans to include a sun deck, a curio and a mini library for reference books on wildlife and general Information..
